The finger of blame has turned upon itself. And I'm more than willing to offer myself. Do you want my presence or need my help? Who knows where that might lead?

Do you have any idea what the word 'sarcasm' means? Leon, GNAA 03:09, 9 February 2013 (EST)

That was sarcasm. Welcome to my sense of humour. Ambient Malice 03:45, 9 February 2013 (EST)

Sure looks like a deflection to me, boyo. Leon, GNAA 03:55, 9 February 2013 (EST)

About your Tsukihime article

I actually played that awhile back. Let me know if you need some help with the article.

In the meantime, some pointers to make it lulzy.

  1. The game spawned a few memes, like how Satsuki always gets screwed out of a route with Shiki, the whole Ciel "wanting Roa suppressed in her ass" bit (you mentioned that), Shiki Tohno's evil side having a fucking psychotic hatred of chairs, and so on. You should make a section detailing the memes and what created theme, preferably with screenshots or meme pics (like shit from the chans if the meme started on 4chan).
  2. Mention any internet drama concerning the game, have a section detailing why the fans are so butthurt over the anime, etc.
  3. Post some lulzy pictures, like some of the more fucked up sex scenes or any really funny/fucked up official art or Rule 34.

DarkLordTR 03:24, 10 February 2013 (EST)DarkLordTR

Thanks for the pointers. I wrote the page on a PSP, so I didn't have upload abilities. I'll add some images when I'm back on my PC, and look at polishing the story section up to include the main VN endings, two main story branches, etc. The anime is a topic I'll have to research a bit, since I personally didn't have a HUGE problem with it. (Besides the ending they chose.) But I've got some general ideas as to why it pissed the fanbase off. I'll also add a Melty Blood section, since Melty Blood's story forms a sequel of sorts.--Ambient Malice 04:00, 10 February 2013 (EST)

Cool. You'll want to add in some info about Kagetsu Tohya as well (the kinda sorta sequel), which technically takes place after Tsukihime, and as for the anime, as I understand it, most of the fans were pissed because it cut out huge chunks of the game storyline, removed Nanaya completely, and some other stuff I don't remember...you'll probably want to Google about it. Also, wouldn't hurt to add in a small section about some of the more lulzy bad ends (like the part where Shiki gets eaten by a fucking shark on the top floor of a hotel). HEY THERE!
Hey, Ambient Malice! I saw what you did with Saya no Uta.

Saya is technically 18, plus we make certain exceptions when said images are relevant. 17:50, 14 February 2013 (EST)

Your articles

HAI 2 U

Gosh, you sure seem enthusiastic, but it looks like you haven't gotten the hang of ED quite yet: Judging by the amount of articles that you're making, I'm assuming that you have a lot of energy and will be a great addition to this site. However, the problem with new users who make a bunch of articles is that their articles are rarely good.

In order for articles to be ED material, it's preferable that they have internet-relevance. This isn't a review site of books no one has read and TV shows no one has heard of. ED is a archive of internet happenings and articles that lack it usually get deleted. Don't take this too harshly, you're still new here and you will do mistakes, just try to learn from them. (BTW, bolding half of the text in your articles, avoid that).

-Gray 01:31, 15 February 2013 (EST)

That's a fair enough point. But since Person of Interest is a very popular American TV show, I'm fairly certain it's relevant. Just as relevant as CSI, anyway. And Rabbit Proof Fence isn't a book, it's a film. A film which many people on the internet use as a reference when talking about the controversial topic of the "Stolen Generation" in Australia.

I'll keep what you've said in mind. I was planning on expanding the VN pages I've already created next, and creating a page for the hugely popular anime, FLCL. Do you think anyone would see a problem with a FLCL page?--Ambient Malice 01:42, 15 February 2013 (EST)

dont listen to him, write whatever the fuck you want 01:43, 15 February 2013 (EST)
    • Thanks a bunch, CrackRabbit I know my writing style is a bit odd - I'm kinda gentle even when I'm being mean to works of art. But as someone with mixed feelings about FLCL, I'll find plenty of ammo. In fact, I even ripped all my FLCL episodes to my HD for screenshots yesterday, and it's fairly easy to find good fan-art and tasteful rule 34. --Ambient Malice 02:08, 15 February 2013 (EST)
  • "tasteful" rule 34 would be great next to "shock" rule 34 of FLCL... Paheal's a good place to look..-- Talk to me|Contribs 02:13, 15 February 2013 (EST)

I'll definitely wind back on the bolding. As well as my mild overuse of the word "pwn".--Ambient Malice 01:47, 15 February 2013 (EST)

It's alright. When I first started editing I had this habit of overusing strikethroughs, you'll grow out of it (I can't stand strikethroughs now). As for expanding pages and anime articles, sounds good (expanding articles will get you used to the basics and cartoons tend to have manchild fandoms which make them easier to criticize). -Gray 01:59, 15 February 2013 (EST)

Something you may want to consider is responding to people on their own talk pages. It guarantees that they will be notified of your message. VX BREATHE DEEP 02:19, 15 February 2013 (EST)

Good work.

YEEEEEAAAAAAH! Hi, I'm Gary Busey...

Ambient Malice, I saw what you did fixing the FLCL article and making it not shit.

I just wanted to say that it was almost as awesome as the experiences that God gave me to go through...
Which were cocaine and extravagant living in the fast, fast, fast, fast, fast lane, see?

Remember: Fear is the dark room where the Devil develops his negatives, keep up the good work!

  • Nice job. I was going to do that. oddguy 02:58, 26 February 2013 (EST)

I'm back. Sort of.

I've been MIA for a while, but I'm gonna try to contribute again. I'm currently drafting a Danganronpa page, and I'll look at doing some more VN related stuff, as I was doing before. --Ambient Malice 02:50, 29 July 2013 (EDT)
