Let's Play Article

Totally agree, video sites are absolutely drowning in fucking Let's Players and if we gave everyone of them an article it could spawn it's own wiki. (then again that's what Dead Horse Interchange was becoming at one point) I kinda agree on the 50k+ rule, but surely allow exceptions if said person has created particularly entertaining eDrama?

Image Fixes

They won't show up right away. Usually takes a day or two for them to get caught up on the CloudFlare cache. You can see the change though if you create an instance of the image with a new arbitrary size, like nyah:

Used 305px instead of its native 306px. This is a handy trick if it's an image for the PotN and needs altered ~right~ away, otherwise ya just gotta wait a few days. --Onideus 05:00, 20 August 2013 (EDT)

Re: Asa's livejournal entries

Well this is what I think about Asa's two live journal entries:

1 The first livejournal entry (on Asa callling out "Linz") is nothing special, but it is true that Asa doesn't like other peoples' kids. I know a lot of people can't stand other peoples' kids, but it's ironic in Asa's case because, #1, Eric ALWAYS gets PISSED and nasty to anyone who dares to say anything negative about his daughters and how raises them (ie LindaDeCaro's YT comments about Asa saying rape infront of his daughters + BatDan's post on TGWTG forums on Asa's RL.)

Don't believe me, look at what he said on Parker Stanfield's "A Written Plea to Asalieri" video. Asalieri talks to the uploader and says that he would do more "One View Wonders" videos if it weren't for those "hypersensitive bitches" complaining about his videos reviewing kids' videos. I'm also not surprised Asa insults people who complain about his videos and "misrepresent" what he was doing/ his intent, when he, himself, berated BatDan over one fucking comment about ASA'S OWN KIDS AND IS STILL BAWWWING about him to this day! Damn..Anyway..

2 On his "back to the US" entry:

Nothing special. HOWEVER the last comment in his "back in the US" is interesting, because I heard it before. Look down V

Interesting. On Facebook, he typed a note bad-mouthing Germany (he wonders why people troll him "facepalm") because three people came to his Dad's house giving him a hard time and interrogated him, then went on to just BAWWW about how Germany is still nationalist and communist as well as the fact that people shouldn't go there to travel. (lolWUT!?)

Someone else also posted on his ED page that he bad mouthed Germany because he believed that they were abusing his kids and yes, it would have been backed up if it weren't for Jfreedan B& his old account. On fb, he didn't say anything about child abuse, idk if this is important (to you) but when it came to his kids, he said he would homeschool his kids (like his communist father HE HATES stupid people.)

Anyway, if I were you I'd take a screencap of what he said in the comments in his October 16, 2010 livejournal entry - "back in the US". This comment > "Yeah, had to escape with my kiddies or else i wouldn't have seen them ever again." And unfortunately, that's it. You can't create quality that isn't there. There is no "CSI Magic Zoom" in real life....

The original actually looks like it was a YouTube video and then someone did a PNG screen cap. But as the video was encoded using a JPEG/MPEG based codec any true original quality was basically run through a proverbial digital washing machine six or eight times. Resaving it as a lossless format isn't going to magically bring back the quality that was lost though upon that original conversion. Once it's converted, that's it, what you see is what you get and it's impossible to restore lost quality, even if you resave it as a lossless format, all that's going to do is bloat the size to server staggering new heights. --Onideus
