Lulz: A Corruption of LOL is a soundtrack containing all the meme songs that have come to be as of this time, January 2008. The project was started independently by an /i/nsurgent who realized just how many songs there are posted to 420chan's /m/usic board, which allows music file uploads. A post was made to /ic/ on 4chan for album art, and now the project is ongoing and is organized by many faithful Anons.

In order to organize this clusterfuck of music, three albums were formed and a page on Insurgency Wiki was made up.

So thus the soundtrack series was born. From that point, there was already first version of album 4 out. Over the years since, more and more songs have been added to it and the amount of albums expanded overtime. It was consistently updated until goons from anonops copypasta'd the article onto hear and shouted people down for wanting to keep both pages up to date. Let's fix that, shall we?

Suggestions for the future

  1. Higher resolution artwork (800 by 800 should be minimum, 200 by 200 is thumbnail bullshit.)
  2. Higher bitrates on new and existing the songs preferably new rips in FLAC and 320kbps mp3.

Give reasons as to why, for easy sorting.
Find songs with MusicDemon,Bomb-mp3,Bee-mp3,FilesTube and P2P.


  • Bold (place ''' before and after song entry) anything that is very important, that should seriously be considered for current or proposed albums, also move the song entry when it has been allocated to an album.
  • Stop/don't suggesting different versions/variations of songs which are already in an album.
  • Use a bullet (•) before songs already in listed albums, this makes sorting easier.
  • If a higher bitrate download link is found for a song, it should replace the existing download link for the song,obviously.
  • Some argue, that the preference for format is FLAC>WAV>OGG>MP3>AAC>WMA.
