Why So Serious? (Y SO SRS?) is a meme from the Batsman movie Teh Dark Knight, which was called "Teh best movie evar" by every 13 year old fanboy who saw it; upon exiting the film, each group of 13 year old boys gathered together, fapping furiously to their newfound quote. The 'tards at /b/ downloaded a pirated version of the movie, probably while searching for CP and decided that since their new favorite an hero keeled over epically, he should be a new meme. This meme also made a spin off as a new type of Oh exploitable thread on 4chan's /b/, and moar crappy shoops on /gif/. This meme was probably devised by /b/tards as a way to forget their horrible past with their THIS IS SPARTA! meme, though everyone already knows that 4chan is fucked up as it is, and the fact that this meme is just the same thing but starring some dead guy noone cares about who wears a bunch of makeup and laughs like a squirrel on a Wednesday afternoon. It was also recently discovered that the quote is the perfect answer to the all menacing question "Why are you here, [insert name]?" from Chris Hansen, thus rendering his pedo-bashing powers useless and allowing the rape of loli and shota by sick fucks all across the world. Nice going, Heath!
Why So Exploitable
It started around July 18th, 2008 when the movie came out and everyone was like,"OMG THAT WUZ TEH GREATEST MOVIE EVAR!!!1 WHY DID HEATH HAVE 2 DIE??!!!11!!1" which /b/tards thought was absolutely great too and yet again became fanboys of this movie. The post constantly changes, from a variety of pics of the Joker doing lulzy things or showing you a card that is exploitable.

The Joker Disease
Fantard all across America have developed The Joker Disease from watching The Dark Knight. The symptoms can include any of the following:
- Writing "Why so serious?" with your own blood all over the place.
- Showing everyone how to make pencils disappear.
- Spoiling the movie for those that haven't watched it yet.
- Dressing your boyfriend as the Joker.
- Shouting "There's a Batman!" at random people while driving.
- Putting a smile on everyone's face.
- Inticing passing cars to hit them.
- Telling people that they're "going to put a smile on that face"

The Pencil Trick scandal
Before the film came out, many JewTubers found out about a scene in The Dark Knight where the Joker shows a "magic trick" and says he can make a pencil "disappear", in which he grabs a charging black person by the head and bashes his head straight into it. Of course the YouTube community thought this was pretty hilarious because nobody likes niggers so many sought out to find the lulzy scene. Others thought this would be the perfect time to get a bunch of views for their video and did some lulzy things to the Jew.
Answer to the Question
The simple answer to the question WHY 13 year old fanboy's are SO SERIOUS about "Y SO SRS?" is that they have absolutely no fucking idea what "seriousness" means. The fact that their Joker was such a god damn pussybitch explains much of their wide-eyed stupidity: they've never been taught. They've never had their stupid gameboy's smashed from their stupid peanut-allergy-having multi-cultural-celebrating fingers, and despite this fact they still have tears dripping down their blubbering swollen red baby cheeks.
An embarrassing speech by some Robert Smith looking bitch about the balance of "one little old murder" against a "truckload of soldiers" dying in a war blew the minds of these wittle baby millennials who were only just outgrowing their shamelessly agenda-driven Disney Nickelodeon cartoons, nighttime juicy cups, and wizard alien bedtime stories. However, the 8-bit, VHS, dial up grown ass MEN of the world would have quickly shut this self-proclaimed "agent of chaos" the fuck down with a single bully slam to his head (back over 9000 years ago, when being bullied IRL was still accepted as a necessary fact of being IRL, and when gay faggotry--being an actual faggot who suckles on balls and tears his anus apart for sexual pleasure--was still something to be done with discretion rather than something to be celebrated loudly and proudly as one's truest identity and on children's cartoons).
When bullies were still good and faggots were still bad, the laughable pussy-ass faggot Joker couldn't have been imagined.
The millennial emo Joker stabs a nigger with a pencil and blows up a hospital: babytown frolics. He burns a pile of cash in order to make the trifling adolescent faggot ass point that "everything burns" and 13 year old fanboy's shit in their Adventure Time underpants. The old fag Joker fucks with money too. He entices thousands of people into the streets by staging a parade giving away free money not in order to prove anything, but in order to murder everyone in the most fucked up repugnant ass way imaginable (short of broomstick raping each of them individually): Smylex, a chemical nerve agent that kills in a sudden contorted panic and painfully disfigures faces into stupid grins.
