ParagonOfSonamy aka Paragon-Yoshi, is another wannabe e-saint, hoping to be revered for doing noble deeds which include writing well thought out essays, wonderful ideas for video games, and generally bringing awareness to oh-so-terrible fiends.

Judging by the avatar, username, and posting style, you'd think this person is a 16-year-old girl — sadly, this person is actually a 25-year-old man.

You may have found him through his stamps, fanfiction, journals, or comments that reek of Unwarranted Self-Importance. He enjoys using his profile to live out his bizarre fantasies, which include writing a glorious victory in a battle against strawmen, and weaving a gloom-filled tale of manchild woe. In his world, when people do bad things, they're no better than Nazis, but when he or his allies do the same things, it's justified because the fanbase started it!

Anyone with a brain should take caution when reading his posts or else be cursed with a significant loss of IQ.

He currently doesn't have an interest in Sonic anymore, nor does he an interest in actually doing something about his avatar.

The self proclaimed "General Fiction Writer"

Before Paragon decided to stop whining about not being a good artist, he posted the typical screenshots, low-quality, uninspired photos, and copy-and-pasted junk, until he figured that writing would be easy enough to garner e-fame. He thought that all he had to do was to write down any idea and post without editing things out, such as inconsistency, incoherency, and stuff that make him look like an asshole.

In the event someone with morbid curiosity had a look at his writings, they would find that he takes himself so seriously, they would think he thought himself as suitable to be a god. Then again, he does have these fascinations...

His moon sized ego lead him to believe he can write skillfully even though his English is "limited". These quotes will show that he makes more sense taken out of "context".

The bullshit

Make way for the cool kid; that's the treatment he expects for his sacred opinions. They are delicate flowers, so any person who questions them or gives him another perspective are infringing on his rights to his opinions, trying to shove their opinion down his throat or just rotten trolls. It doesn't take much to make him freak; even a polite criticism will be enough to make him cry, so don't be fooled by his claims to be able to take it. To him, these perfidious perpetrators don't understand that what he posts is criticism, that their reactions are merely butthurt. Sometimes, he is at a place without the advantage of blocking any nonbeliever and will flee to his hugbox when anyone dares to disagree with his righteous rants.

When it comes to differing opinions, Paragon is interested only in making the other side bow down to him, as opposed to maintaining a discussion. Point out any inconsistencies he makes, and he will weasel his way out of acknowledging their point, even moving the goal posts.

Dictatorship!

He wishes he could be a god and create his ideal world... like a wannabe dictator.

After carefully expressing his honest opinions, he came across the evil fanbrats who insulted him and made up facts. Oh yeah, and threatened him with death, which justifies the comparison of the many fans who don't! Because of these actions, Paragon logic dictates they are Nazis. Called someone an idiot? Nazi. Claimed people keep buying games they like don't know what good games are? Nazi. Think speed is speed? Nazi. (See the "iceberg" quote below for his logic and to find he apparently considers himself a Nazi.)[1] [2].

Unoriginality sucks

As a righteous and truly artistic individual, he sees things such as unoriginality and unimaginativeness and wants them dead. With an attitude like that, one would think he hates pretty much everything, which obviously isn't the case, judging by the pictures in his favorites.

If you actually read his stuff, you would find writing typically found on fanfiction.net.

Clichéd, stereotypical characters

The author shoving his views down the throats of his readers.
Drama for the sake of drama.
Scenes, characters, even plots "based" on such from videogames.
Characters crossing over for no apparent reason.

These are things he did in the past, but it's shown that old habits die hard, when you skim over his lazily written Shantae fanfic.

He couldn't even be arsed to come up with an original plot:

Shantae needs to search for the generic upgrades to power up her ~~sword~~ hair in order to defeat the evil ~~wizard~~ genie.
"The Mysterious Girl": A girl dressed like a ninja who gives Shantae an info dump, turns out to be ~~a princess~~ her mom in disguise and gives her the power to shoot projectiles of light, then immediately gets imprisoned in a crystal by the evil genie who keeps it in her castle and waits for Shantae to come to the rescue.
After her lair has collapsed, the evil genie transforms into her final form, commencing the final battle. While Shantae's mother focuses on channeling her power, Shantae protects her from the evil genie's attacks.
After Shantae damaged the Genie enough, Shantae's Mother uses her Magic to stop the Evil Genie from moving and "reveals" her heart. Shantae then performs an epic final blow.

When confronting him, don't expect an original response.

Mary Sues, Real Life or Fictional

What else can Paragon do to inflate his ego? By pandering to fans of girl power! Like many guys, he has a thing for women kicking ass; unlike many guys, he acts like he deserves a medal for it.

Real life women who fight like kung-fu masters make him excited, so expresses his desire to see more "girl fighting" in this journal. He explained the moves to use in a fight as well as tips when in a fight. He provided a list of movie clips (which were taken down by Youtube) to show how awesome women would look as fighting machines. He did all this to prove that women are not weak at all. How reassuring of him to use fiction to prove it!

This attitude doesn't appear present when he talks about how a woman is a victim of a game show because they "PURPOSELY choose games where she has NO CHANCE of winning" or a random nobody claiming that girl gamers aren't common.

This is in his favorites. Make of that what you will.

If any dare to imply he supports women for shallow reasons, he'll run right back to home base and maybe cry "insolence!"

If the real reason for his support wasn't already evident, his fanfiction would show it:

Dan Tremmo - Young Super Fighters: A movie idea about a guy named Matt (POS's first name is Mathias) meeting an amnesiac girl who can kick ass and dodge bullets. It turns out this "Dan Tremmo" taught the girl every martial arts in the world and had injected some "vaccine" that enhances her abilities and makes her virtually indestructible, and gave her a drug that causes amnesia. Remember girls, if you want to be awesome, have drug-induced superpowers!
Fighting Princess-Royal Bout: A game idea of princes and princesses battling each other leading to a showdown between the best royal fighters of the continent (all of them who just happened to be female).
Martial Arts Legends - A fighter's journey: A game idea about a 16 year old girl who trained in kick boxing for years, went on a journey to go training and training and training. Oh, and save the world.
After 6 Years - Fighting Spirit: A story showing off how badass Amy Rose and her friends are after six years of training. When they have nothing to do, they go train by fighting for hours, bashing their head against hard surfaces for better head-butting damage, balancing on balance beams while balancing various objects with their feet, defending against a stupidly named bird... apparently anything but weight-lifting. If you read this 40+ chapter fanfiction, you may hear the sound of physiologists rolling in their graves.

Characterization? Sensibility? Who cares, they just kick ass!!

Your characters are now my tools

When he was working on his latest Amy Rose worship fanfiction, he knew that it wasn't getting much attention and thought that characters that other people created will help it gain popularity. So, he got permission from the characters' creators, and his deluded brain equated it as permission to twist the characters into his playthings.

Upon planning what on "fitting" changes to make, he had a look at C-Squirrel's character and immediately took his scalpel to butcher the character as badly as 4Kids would have. Living dead? Do not want! Bombs or any other weapons? Not proper fighting! Personality he can't manage to fit without changing the story? Screw that!

After Paragon shoved C-Squirrel with links of his shitfic in her face, she decided to play along until he crossed the line with a name change, claiming the name suited her better than the name her creator gave herself. Naturally, C-Squirrel requested for her character's removal in which Paragon responded like the mature, tough-skinned critic he was: in tears.

Without permission to use the character anymore, he went into hugbox mode in which he did the following:

Tried to gain sympathy for his "justified" actions. Deleted the two entries he used when it failed.
Wrote a little reminder to say that the character removal was a blow to his artistic endeavors.
Got "pressured" into deleting his precious fic.
Told everybody that he is not responsible if he happens to shit on their trust and therefore, they should not give him a "mental beating".

The madness was finally over when he remembered C-Squirrel's suggestion to make his own character. Now that he has created a replacement, he found the drive to continue his story and had learned his lesson: when you're sneakier with your wording, you can get off scot-free by technicality.

This wasn't the only time Paragon screwed someone over. He had an intense hatred for one particular fan-character, Yasu, even going so far to express his disgust on any piece of fanart in which he appears. He saw him as the perfect candidate for the villain in his story and begged the creator, QT-Star, for her permission. Knowing full well of Paragon's hatred for her character, she figured he would be decent enough to at least put effort into making Yasu into a magnificent villain.

However, with the desire to do so being overcome by his obsession of his wordy fights of sexy hedgehog girls, he made Yasu into a carbon copy of Vega, and copied a part from the animated Street Fighter II movie with the final chapter of his appearance, and called them "parodies", hoping nobody with knowledge of the character or movie would notice.

After having her trust betrayed, she gave Paragon the cold shoulder and broke ties with him.

“	[Yasu] was a 21 year old Wolf-mobian. He was going into the same school as Cream. Though he was in a higher class. He was kind of a woman charmer. That's how Cream got to know him in the first place.	„
—In context, Cream is 11 years old.

Even though the others had their characters either becoming antagonists for petty reasons, or changed simply because it's more convenient for the writer, they seemed to be fine with it. If that wasn't the case, then they lied about liking what he did, just so he doesn't throw another bitchfit.

Nintendo vs. Capcom

ParagonOfSonamy was playing some of his Street Fighter games on easiest mode and repeatedly gets his ass handed to him. This is not because he sucks at the games; it's obviously Capcom's fault for not making the games beginner-friendly! Some time after, he decided to write his ideas on a beginner-friendly game, then show them to a team of artists and programmers so they will be so amazed by his awesome writing that they will gladly make a game for him! His game would be called Nintendo vs. Capcom.

“	And of course, only being able to write scripts, fanfics and stuff surely sucks for me. D: I am kinda hoping to find people, who would gladly work together with me to get this game done.	„

Feeling confident of his wonderful idea, he went to Rogue Mages and made a topic to invite all those who wish to give his ego satisfaction, which came to a complete halt when someone smashed his ego with a hammer called criticism.

It took him a whole month to pick up pieces of his shattered ego, but when he tried again this time, he claimed to welcome ideas and criticism so he could make the game. However, this claim about criticism and ideas was debunked when the same guy who was douchey enough to criticize the idea the first time, decided to give criticism again. And now, Paragon's face turned into one of sad. He knew he couldn't present a decent counterargument, so he left the topic for dead and relied on his self-esteem squad to kiss his boo-boos.

He moved on from Rogue Mages to go on a quest to find willing slaves to work on his project. While most of the places accepted having demands thrown at their faces, Mugen Guild did not, and as a result, proceeded to pwn him.

Shockingly, some had the nerve to ask to be paid for their work. He has no means to transfer money nor does he have enough to pay, and leeching off of his mommy and daddy was out of the question as well, which leaves him to rely on donations from others without giving compensation. Oh, if only the sprite artists didn't use such sucky, inefficient methods of spriting and used the tutorials he generously provided, then they would have accepted the "appreciation and enjoyment of the players" as payment! But who needs them anyway? They're just greedy assholes.

For someone emphasizing patience when it comes to making a game, he's oblivious to the main fact that attention whoring makes him anything but patient.
