Visual Studio Code

Visual Studio Code, abbreviated to VS Code, is a special-needs IDE goyslopware used by low skill normies to write code, instead of using notepad or a command-line.

It was developed by Microsoft and is compatible with Windows, Lunix and FaggotOS. Apparently, the reason this bloatware is so beloved is its support for debugging, syntax highlights and "automatic" code completion because the people who use this shit are dyslexic illiterates who require the guidance of a stupid interface to write on their own. The software itself is slow and needs extensions for almost everything, even Notepad++ is better.

If you really need to use VS Code then please use VSCodium instead – it's the same as VS Code but it removes the telemetry/tracking and other crap which would otherwise weigh down VS Code on your Operating system. Extensions can be downloaded from here.

History

The software was initially released in 2015 and is programmed in JavaScript and CSS. At first, nobody paid attention to the project because people still had brains and knew it was useless software that taught the programmer a series of bad habits. But from 2017-2018, the software began to be used and recommended more by people and notepad was left to starve. It's clearly a devolution.

Features

As already mentioned, the software only teaches programmers bad habits, making them lazy with the automatic code completion system and more inattentive with the debugging system. People consider these things to be features, but in reality it's just an excuse to justify their laziness as programmers.

It's not a bug, it's a feature

Another thing that people consider a feature is the fact that the software supports several programming languages, namely: C, C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, RUST, and Julia (nobody knows what Julia is), with Notepad++ doing the SAME SHIT but better than VS Code. The software also supports customized themes, so you can download a black and green theme, take a screenshot and tell everyone you're an elite h4xx0r.
