Adam (Ape) Goodes (born 8 January 1980) is a former professional Australian Rules footballer and Aboriginal, mostly known for his bitching in 2013 for being called an "Ape" by a 12-year-old and was "Gutted" and "Never been more hurt". despite the girl claimed she "did not know that what she had said was a racial slur". Goodes said after the incident that the dance was based on one he learned from under-16s indigenous team the Flying Boomerangs, and that it was intended as a symbol of indigenous pride during Indigenous Round, not as a means of offending or intimidating the crowd.
