Retsupurae is a collaboration of various Something Awful retards, who gets paid to comment over video game footage, they themselves didn't record. They also get paid to ban people from their subforum, and from when their fanbase consisting of 14 year olds use their allowance to buy their shitty merchandise. The main faggots behind the cocksucking known as Retsupurae are Slowbeef and Diabetus, while they occasionally also include other dribbling SA retards. The kind of humor they use includes taking awful let's plays and hoping that their audience would think that they're funny even though the humor comes from the videos they showed rather than their shitty commentary (also known as the RayWilliamJohnson Effect).
Slowbeef is credited with starting the let's plays on the Something Awful forums where he now rules with an ironfist, and bans everyone who dares to speak badly about games he love or Retsupurae. Ever since Slowbeef had the brilliant idea to record him failing at The Immortal, while speaking over slideshows of the game, his recording skills seems to have deteriorated; which doesn't say much. He soon realized how much of a cancer he started by commenting over games, and decided to join forces with Diabetus to mock bad let's plays, that are only marginally worse than their own. They were soon joined by other SA members, in order to circle-jerk each other, so they don't realize how bad they really are.
