Yes hello this page is maintained as a resource for people who would like to help make this site better but
- Do not know how to or even want to write articles
- Are not funny
- Don't know where to start
- Have aspergers
If you fall into any of the above categories you can still help and be rewarded with... well, nothing. Maybe the illusion of e-peen, or the warm fuzzy feeling you get inside knowing that you contributed something back to a site that has made you laugh for months or years. It's a similar feeling to that of a vibrating anal plug, without the messy cleanup later.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
The gallery below contains images that have been used as Picture of the Now but are not listed in any articles. What this means is that they're buried in a mess of hundreds of images and probably won't be seen by anyone. They need a home.
Find them a home. Pick an image, and find an article that fits its context. For example if the image has a pony, search for brony. You don't need to have preexisting knowledge of the articles, just type any random word into the search bar and half the time we have an article on it.
Once you find an article, slap the image on it. A few good ways to do this is:
- Put it in the gallery. Most articles have an image gallery at the bottom.
- Use it as a thumbnail to break up large walls of text.
- Replace missing images.
When replacing missing images it's appreciated if you move the original missing image link to the article's discussion page. This is an old habit that people have relating to restoration from the original .com era. To be perfectly honest restoration has been finished for years and nobody is going through webarchive looking for that shit anymore so it's really not necessary, but it's a courtesy to those with severe aspergers. They might bitch at you if you don't do it. If that happens, just direct them to a sonic fan site and go about the rest of your day. Or put the image in the discussion page, that's cool too.
If you are a complete noob and don't know how to add thumbnails, you do it like this:
[[File:IMAGEFILENAME.JPG|thumb|right]]
You can switch right with left depending on which side you want the thumbnail to appear on. Always use the "show preview" button before saving your changes to make sure it looks alright. If you're feeling like a cheeky cunt, you can add a caption to it like this:
[[File:IMAGEFILENAME.JPG|thumb|right|MY HILARIOUS CAPTION]]
You can also change the size of the thumbnail like this:
[[File:IMAGEFILENAME.JPG|thumb|right|300px|MY HILARIOUS CAPTION]]
300px is just an example, you can use any number. Again, use show preview before saving to make sure it looks ok.
If you're just adding it to a gallery, that's very simple and doesn't need an explanation. Just find the gallery and add the image to the bottom of the list.
After adding the image to an article, come back to this page and remove it from the list. BE KIND, REWIND.

If any user approaches you and attempts to "recruit" you to help more on the wiki, ignore that for they are only doing it out of crippling loneliness and should be left to wallow in their misery until they kill themselves for the betterment of everyone around them.
