The meme stay safe (or in full: please... stay safe) originated in response to an entertaining facebook post by a nerdy white knight.

Other phrases

Other phrases have become secondary memes associated with this. They include "please respond" and "I will be praying for your safety"/"I will be praying for you".

Less popular though still usable are other quotes from the original post such as "I hope you are alright.", "Are you ok?", "Please hang in there, ok?" or "Please try to think happy thoughts, if you can".

Also related to other posts is the use of the word soon.
