QUALITY

Chan could refer to many things:

  1. A popular Chinese surname (traditional Chinese 陳; simplified Chinese 陈) in Cantonese transcription. The Mandarin transcription of the same name is Chen (surname).
    • Jackie Chan - Popular Kung Fu expert and actor.
  2. Ch'an (chi. 禪) (pinyin: chán), a sect of Buddhism cognate to Zen in Japanese Language.
  3. A Japanese honorific (like san) used to refer to children, girls, and young women. Often used in naming notable camwhores on chan imageboards (see below).
  4. Any number of channels (usually in the form of textboards and imageboards) for anonymous posting with a noted disregard for common decency. Often popular amongst Weeaboo (or in some cases, Elevens) basement-dweller on the Intarweb.

  7. Office-chan - Attention whore, who delivered tights for a sick bastard on /b/ from her office on 06.02.09.
  8. Rat-Chan - Winrar and true /b/tard, will kill your rats.
  9. Martini-Chan - /b/ ruined her life.
  10. Chin-chan - Self explanatory, made of fail and AIDS,but not chin (possibly Hep C and Fœtal Alcohol, this has yet to be confirmed)
  11. Charlie-chan - (link doesn't work) An ancient "Chinese" detective; counter to Fu Manchu but still pwoof of dweadfull wacism
  12. Phoenix-chan - A girl who was bored one night on /b/ and posted pics of herself in a quest to become a chan. She even put shoe on head. That's what I call a true Femanon amirite
  13. Can-chan - A cumdumpster that was on /b/ the morning of November, 24th 2008. Apparently, she only did it for the lulz. However, all women are attention whores.
  14. Maru-chan - A motherfucking gutless whore that likes to be fucked in the bathroom along with Damnixa K-Sexres Hilarious, playing with her pussy and making blowjobs to JC the dick FTW. She also likes to make fucking good threesomes in Charli's room FTW :3.
  15. Mensa-chan - A curvy intellibitch who followed instructions, delivered, and even got respect from some upstanding gentlemen.
  16. Fire-chan - An AIDS-infested shitfaced attention whore who left many an Anon with blue balls. May your red hair devour you in your sleep.
  17. Flat Chan - A very flat chan.
  18. Pear Chan - A chan with a very odd shape. Must be viewed to be appreciated.
  19. Puff(y)-chan - A puffy chan that arose in the early morning of July 16, 2009.
  20. Operation: Fat Fuck - Lulz from a person who looks alot like Bobby hill Operation FAT FUCK was a success
  21. Creepy_Chan - A creepy teenage girl who actually went on to be in the 12th Americas next top model
  22. Chris-chan (WARNING: BRIX SHITTING CONTENT INSIDE!!!) A faggot of epic proportions who created the Sonichu franchise. It should be noted that he is a 30 year old, autistic, virgin manchild with strong pedophile tendencies who deserves to be hated and trolled. He is desperately seeking a "boyfriend-free girlfriend" through means of fapping to Sonichu, fucking an imaginary twin sister, or through taking pictures of himself with his medallion of power.

Once upon a time, some hikikomori Elevens got the brilliant idea to make the Internets equivalent of writing naughty messages and phone numbers on a greasy bathroom wall and made an enormous fucking website about it (completely unaware of Usenet). Some weeaboo basement-dweller went off to make an English version because he thought it was the hottest shit around. Since 4chan is the largest of the English-speaking chan sites, it has spawned millions of ugly, disgusting, retarded children that exist either to support furfags or to cater to some geniuses who wish to get away from 4chan's fascist rules or dumb moderators. Currently there is only one serious contender to 4chan, but it is super duper t0p 5ekrit.
