Synopsis:
Derek Logue is a convicted sex offender. He is an activate participant in several RSO advocacy groups. All of which seek to eliminate registry requirements and restrictions for sex offenders.

Derek W. Logue AKA thefallenone AKA fallenone AKA F1 is a registered sex offender and active RSO activist who is classified on the public registry as a "sexual predator."

In 2000, at the age of 24, Derek was convicted of 1st Degree sexual assault of an 11-year-old child in Alabama. He served three years in the Bullock County Correctional Facility in Union Springs, Alabama and moved to Ohio following his release. A psychological evaluation described him as "self-centered, self-indulgent and passively-dependent upon others." Derek is best known for blaming victims of sexual crimes and angry outbursts which he says are the fault of those who support sex offender management policies. Speaking of his 11 year old victim he wrote:

Derek complains loudly and often on RSO-advocacy boards such as Evil-unveiled.com/Sex Offender Support and Education Network, Evil-unveiled.com/SOhopeful International, Evil-unveiled.com/Roar for Freedom and his own OnceFallen about how unfairly sex offenders are treated by society. It is his view that once a sex offender is released from prison that they should be free to go about their business with no monitoring or interference from government officials.

He actively participates in advocacy boards for RSO's that seek to eliminate both registry and age of consent laws. Derek was recently scheduled for a reclassification hearing on his predator status and made an appeal in the SOSEN forum for members to write him letters of recommendation that he could use in his hearing. Derek continually fails to take responsibility for his past actions and persistently blames all his current troubles upon others. Just like all the other RSO's and advocates, Derek is deceptive when it comes to talking about the recidivism rate of sex offenders. He frequently misinterprets studies and reports and only references short term studies omitting the longer studies which subsequently contain more accurate information.

A Summit was held recently in Ohio to address issues pertaining to victims of sexual assault. Derek attempted to undermine their efforts by writing letters to the invited attendees blaming the victims advocates for the high recidivism rate of sex offenders. He said, "This is not about an issue of sex offender laws, but of VIGILANTISM-- stalking, harassing, intimidating, ostracizing, and humiliating former offenders en masse, which has been shown to cause the stress that leads to a higher risk of recidivism". Derek also blamed the organizer of the summit, not only for high recidivism rates but for the actions of everyone who vocally opposes his views as well. He wrote in his letters, "I sincerely hope you find this compelling enough to remove your support of this summit only on the basis of the organization responsible for this summit."

Derek's impulsive, self-absorbed nature and continued blame-shifting behavior, along with his lack of empathy for sexual abuse victims and attempts to disrupt their efforts to heal is great cause for concern.

Just as pedophiles were attempting to disassociate themselves from the societal stigma of that label by calling themselves, "boylovers," "girllovers," or "childlovers," so too are RSO advocates, like Derek, trying to remove themselves from the stigma of being "sex offenders." RFSO, registered former offender or "registered offender" or even just "ex-offender" seem to be the most commonly accepted terms that they attempt to employ to make "sex offender" or "sexual predator" be viewed in a kinder, gentler light by the general public.

We first became aware of Derek Logue when we learned of sites, such as Evil-unveiled.com/SOhopeful International and Evil-unveiled.com/Sex Offender Support and Education Network on which registered sex offenders, their families, friends, and other supporters gather in effort to fight what they feel are unjust or unfair laws regarding sex offender registration.
He has always used his real name in his participation with these groups.
Despite being kicked off of Facebook numerous times, Derek Logue changes his user name and email to regain access, despite not reporting changes to local Cincinnati authorities.
Derek often employs prostitutes using Federal mandated benefits (Disability). (By his own admission).
Often travels from state-to-state to engage in protests against sex offender registry.

Up until then I used the victim role to get what I wanted in life. I was a "sympathy whore" to put it bluntly. I lost my job in August 2005, only a couple of weeks after the store received a new female store manager.	„
