The original brand™

There are a variety of other wikis on the internet that attempt to document the lulz, much like Encyclopedia Dramatica. Or at least, they claim that they do.

Encyclopedia Dramatica itself was birthed as a stillborn bastard child from Girlvinyl sometime in December 2004. Nowadays it's used for anything drama, news, people, or lulz related, but the original intent was to document LiveJournal drama.

Uncyclopedia

A "parody" of Wikipedia that has two smouldering kegs of shit dedicated to creating a toxic smokescreen of faggotry for wikipedos to dwell in. One of the sites is in a halfway abandoned state on the FANDOM (website) servers, while the other one churns out the same bullshit that makes Linfen, China[1] look like an appealing place to live.

Insurgency Wiki

A site that is essentially any and every *chans' /i/ board in wiki format. Initially, it was a very popular resource for organizing raids, but it had such a bad habit of changing owners too often and getting moved around through different servers and domains in a fly by night sort of way that Anonymous found other methods of accomplishing the same thing.

Common tools that were hosted include the dangerous kitten and variations of LOIC. It's basically a skiddies wet dream.

Started out as a clone of a clone and ended up as the (former) copypasta compound. Famously hosted quality reading material such as this moving Rocket Power fanfic and Showing /b/ to my sister.

Corporations trying to make a profit off of memes while also being one of the internet's biggest black holes of anti-lulz, since the profit is generated from niche comedy. A good source for finding many of the missing images from ED, and for seeing areas of internet culture which ED needs to focus on moar.

Its kind of ironic to note that both ED and KYM steal information from each other, but at least ED's profits go towards keeping the lulz documented and on the internet, whereas KYM is a huge Jew Gold hoarding machine.

The new and hip ED

Once upon a time, Girlvinyl decided to kill ED so she could make a lot of jew golds. Instead of just leaving, the thieving jew decided to hack the gibson and abort the original fetus while replacing it with a newly had starchild abomination that nobody cares about. This act of treason pissed off a lot of people who saw it as stealing years worth of effort and lulz in order to further her newly hatched Ponzi Scheme.

It's also referred to as Know Your Meme 2: Electric Boogaloo since it contains a bunch of former EDiots, white knights, and butthurt revisionism. The content and design is about as inspired as refrying half of EDs articles in a vat of boiling piss, and it's pretty obvious that the blog is the centerpiece of the site, which defies the laws of internet-physics since the site is supposed to be a wiki.

Doing obvious things such as fixing red links can get your ass banhammered, even if you try to remain neutral about the drama that led up to this estranged faggotry. A typical user found on OhInternet is Starkiller88.

WhatPort80

A dead site that had such a gay design, it rivaled Robot Unicorn Attack. This was supposed to generate profit by essentially dumbing down everything on ED by using another site, since nobody wanted to advertise here.

This mistake of an effort later turned out to be a beta of OhInternet, since the whole idea was to rewrite everything to be "safe for work". For an easy way to compare how related these two wikis were and still are in regards to censorship, see the following two screencaps:

World2ch Historical Society wiki

A small wiki that is preserving a lot of the early history about 4chan, Anonymous, Something Awful, among other things. It seems to be ran by one person.

The sites name is a reference to world2ch (the birth of the English 2channel and 2chan) and world4ch, an early name for 4chan's (now completely dead and unmoderated) textboards.

This was another wiki that documented a lot of the early culture associated with Anonymous, as well as having some decent pages written about other things. Taken down after Shii got bored with it, as usual.

A wiki from Brazil that also has been trying to emulate ED's vicious humor style, but failing miserably for the fact they are also copying humor from the insufferable Uncyclopedia and been unable to distinguish decent jokes from bland unfunny shit.

According to their "about" page, the name is taken from the english lurkmore wiki because originally they were inspired by that wiki, but then they later discovered ED, and decided to be more like ED. A Spanish version of ED (encyclopediadramatica.es) which had a grand total of 2 articles and 30 new spam accounts per day. 404 no encontrado. Later the url became English-language ED's address after the ED.se domain was temporarily seized.

This could refer to either one of the following Ukrainian lulz wikis.

"Енциклопедія Драматика"

The Ukrainian counterpart to ED, it's definitely full of its own local memes and culture, etc. This is a cool wiki, as noted by Joseph Evers himself[2]. As for 2017, original dramatica.org.ua is dead due to the sudden death of its owner, and volunteers are restoring it at the new address drama.kropyva.ch

Fayna Memoria

Yet another wiki, but this one seems to compete with ED and the above site, instead of being analogous like the above site.
